EXPUNGEMENT

If you were charged with a criminal offense in the State of Virginia and were acquitted or the charge was nolle prossed (dropped) or dismissed, you can petition the Circuit Court of that jurisdiction to have the charge expunged from your record. If the Petition is granted, the charge will be completely removed from your record. Unfortunately, if you were convicted of a criminal offense or the case was taken under advisement and later dismissed, you can not have this conviction expunged. I have helped numerous individuals expunge criminal charges from their records. If you would like to discuss having a Virginia criminal charge expunged from your record, please call me today.
